Our Return Policy


Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund. Do to every cake being custom made we can not offer any exchanges only a full refund.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. The buyer is responsible for return shipping. The seller has the right to refuse a refund if all items shipped with the cake are not received back. No partial refunds will be granted.


Non-returnable items include:

  • Used products
  • Partial products (i.e an element off a purchased cake)
  • Downloadable products
  • Freebies or giveaways



Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

Sale items

Items listed as part of a close out sale will not be eligible for a refund. This will be noted in the description of the product to ensure the customer is aware the product is ineligible for a refund/return.


Since our cakes are custom made we unfortunately cannot offer exchanges. Do to the nature of each item being handmade, we cannot guarantee enough stock to replace your purchase for an exact replica. The best option would be to offer a full refund once the item is received back.


If the item was purchased as a gift, we will send a refund to the original buyer and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, please contact us (diaper.cakes@phxgardencakes.com) and we will provide you with a return address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, it will not include the original shipping cost.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
